The London Landmarks Collection
Familiar places. Meaningful memories. A more engaging care environment.
The London Landmarks Collection brings some of the capital's most recognisable places into care home corridors, lounges and shared spaces through a coordinated series of atmospheric heritage artworks.
Created to support reminiscence, conversation and connection, each piece offers more than decoration. A familiar building, street or London scene may prompt someone to remember a journey, a celebration, a place they worked or a day spent with family.
Each artwork follows the distinctive Outstanding Inside visual style, allowing multiple pieces to sit together as one elegant and coherent environmental collection.
Every design is supplied as an A1 landscape artwork with a matt finish on lightweight, rigid Foamex board. The generous size makes the image easy to notice and explore without overwhelming the corridor, while the landscape orientation creates a natural visual window into each scene, giving residents more detail to recognise, discuss and revisit. The non-glazed matt surface also helps minimise glare from corridor lighting and nearby windows.
Why Foamex board
Foamex board is particularly well suited to busy care environments because it is:
Lightweight but rigid, making it easier to handle and install than heavy framed artwork
Durable, designed to retain its shape and appearance in frequently used communal spaces
Matt and low glare, reducing distracting reflections and helping residents see the image comfortably from different positions
Free from glass, so there is no reflective or breakable glazed surface in front of the artwork
Smooth and easy to maintain, with a surface that can be gently cleaned in accordance with the printer's care instructions
Slim and contemporary, sitting neatly against the wall without the visual heaviness of a traditional frame
Consistent across the collection, with every piece sharing the same dimensions and presentation for a calm, coordinated corridor rather than a set of unrelated pictures
The coordinated format allows several pieces to work together as one elegant environmental collection, transforming an ordinary corridor into a familiar journey through London.

Artistic and historical note
The London Landmarks Collection consists of original, artistically interpreted images created to encourage reminiscence, recognition and conversation. The artworks are not documentary photographs, architectural records or exact historical reconstructions. Certain details, including colour, lighting, perspective, scale, surrounding features and period atmosphere, may be adapted or imaginatively composed to create a coherent and emotionally engaging artwork.
Although care is taken to preserve the recognisable character of each landmark, the images should not be relied upon as factual representations of a particular place, period or event. Product previews and room mock-ups are illustrative. Final print colours may vary slightly from those displayed on screen due to differences in screen settings and the printing process.
